944S 1989 LH - Indicator LED stays on

Dear Friends,

I have a 944S LH Porsche.
It is a 1989 model.

I am unfortunately not technical orientated but would like to learn
more about my car and even sort out some problems myself.

To begin with, the indicator LED on the dashboard stays on when
switching it to the left or right. What can the natural cause be?

Where can I check?
I thought it might be a fuse but when I opened the fuse box in the
engine compartment I was a little intimidated by the number of fuses.

Please help.

1. it is not a fuse
2. there are NO LEDs in your car as it came from the factory except for a
green one on top of one relay within the fuste box
3. which indicator are you speaking of - the turn signal indicator or some
other indicator? and a few more words to explain what you mean by "stays
on" will be helpful - does it never turn off? does it ever flash?
